What a fantastic website! Better than many professional sites. I spent an hour on the site and only skimmed the surface. Its now been bookmarked and I shall be returning soon. Incidentally, I've only been to Blackburn once (East Lancs Open Day) and regret I never saw the buses (great livery on Tridents). However, I did see a Blackburn AN68 locally; a small operator bought one and didn't bother to repaint.

Superb! Extremely informative and interesting, to have gone to such lengths to have amassed all of this is most commendable, well done.

Great site! It would be great if the info and photos of Blackburn trams could be published as a book. I'd buy a copy.

This site is very interesting. Although i am not old enough t oremember all the old buses. it was good to see how Blackburn Transport all started. I have recently made a 1/76th scale model of blackburn boulevard so i could keep my blackburn model buses on a scenery that looks familiar. Great site.

It has taken me a couple of evenings to view the whole site, which I consider was time well spent. A very professional and well laid out production which is easy to follow and absorb. Thank You.
I only recomend that the Tramalan reference should be updated (White metal no more)

I am glad someone has recorded the history of Blackburn buses and I was sorry indeed to learn that Blackburn no longer has its own buses.  The only reason I found out was a search for buses from Accrington to Blackburn and I could not believe that the 46 service ended before 5pm each day.  I remember when there were buses more or less every 12 minutes throughout the day and on top of that there was the express No9 which was first stop Church Commercial I think.  Blackburn has surely lost out by losing its corporation transport department.

What an amazing discovery to find this web site. I was born in Blackburn and left there in 1957. I remember the old buses with great affection, in particular the AECs. I always thought that there was only one but I now know that there was two. What a pity Blackburn Transport has gone the way of most things in this country, into oblivion. At least we have the memories and now thanks to your web site, access to a whole world of facts and photos etc.
Well done, it is an amazing achievement.

What an absolutely stunning website! This must be a labour of love!

I'm keen to start modeling 7mm Manchester trams, but those Green and Ivory trams are very tempting!

The new vehicles are Wright Volvo B7, but not all 25 will be coming to Blackburn. Some are for LU and some for B&P
